The BILSTEIN B16 ridecontrol® gives the ambitious motorist the opportunity to adapt the vehicle setting to the motoring conditions prevailing during the ride. In fractions of a second, the controller processes the signal and passes the information to the BILSTEIN shock absorbers build in the leading mono-tube/inverted technology.

In the comfort oriented "Normal" mode, the suspension discreetly dampens all the bumps in the road. The setting in the "Sports" mode is significantly firmer and gives the driver the chance to drive the car much more dynamically right to the limits, while at the same time enjoying high performance reserves.

afaik, patec already makes a kit like this, but with more options-



 

The Patec I.S.S. (Intelligent Suspension System) Coilovers are the most advanced coilover system in the world today. No other aftermarket coilover has the same features and technology.

The I.S.S. kits are true electronic internal coilovers, not just a simple box that controls the dials at the top of the shocks.
The electronic system sits inside the internal damping cartridge and has a unique laser cut valving system. This electronic valving unit reacts within a fraction of a second to 100% precise settings to all 4 shocks that the driver can distinguish instantly. The ECU for the shocks maintains perfect settings and balance of damping control for all 4 shocks, there is "0" delay in reaction times or settings for the entire suspension. When compared to any other aftermarket kit the I.S.S. system is faster and more accurate many times over.

React to different street requirements and change your driving comfort within micro seconds, even while driving, with a cockpit control pad that gives you 4 settings: Comfort, Autobahn, Sport and Race:

Comfort
Provides a softer damping setting, perfect for daily driving and harsh city streets.

Autobahn
Set for normal street and freeway driving with a bit more compression stiffness and slower rebound. This setting gives you more of a traditional coilover feeling.

Sport
Click over to the sport setting when you want to mix it up, those sharp corners and high-speed bends won’t feel so intimidating anymore.

Race
The expression on your face and anyone in the car will change with the final click on the dial. Your car just got injected with the meanest setting. The Race setting will allow you to push your car to the limit!


What makes the Patec I.S.S. Coilovers unique is not just its fully internal electronic system!

The damping valves are set by an electro-magnetic control unit. Because the moving pieces were limited to a frictionless system there is no fear of parts wearing or breaking prematurely.

The shaft design is also unique to the I.S.S. coilovers: Because the kit is still precisly height adjustable the system and springs had to be especially formulated to have the same reaction and performance, regardless of the height settings.

   9. CNC’d aluminum top caps, thread adjusters and small hardware: Minimal use of plastic parts ensures that the chance of immature failure of pieces is substantially lowered.
  10. Polyurethane bushings and double thick oversized axle bolt mounting shafts for added stability and strength.
  11. 5-stage damper rod seal system (similar to motorcycle shocks) helps prevent any debris, particles, dust dirt from entering the interior of the shock.
  12. The damping rod is the heart of any suspension, Patec damping rods are made with special treated hardened steel. Machined to tolerance perfection standards that are equal to firearms industry standards.
  13. Specially designed spring settings for a more competition responsive driving style.
  14. Custom bump stop and neoprene boots equipped with every coilover


The kit itself comes complete with all installation material and instruction manual. The control pad can be mounted anywhere in the cockpit.

patec kit is only for FWD cars. which eliminates most of audis and some vw.
also i would trust bilstein. dont know about patec.

i was trying to say someone else made em- i trust bilstien more, and these were $2200 instead of $1700, although it wouldve been cool to try

crap, I paid 1700 for the Biltein Pss9 coils.  could have got this cool stuff
